> Sunday up to Salida & the Hinds camping place saw creepy place with skulls saw burros when returning to Cripplecreek, saw blood moon/eclipse while we gambled

> Monday to Raton - went through Laveta and caChara on the way and saw friends Ate lunch and went up to see the volcano near Raton

> Tuesday to Santa Fe – by way of Taos Tito Tito MPI open grave nasty square and drew pictures– gambled
>
> Wednesday 30 - Albuquerque -Music flute thing artwork and church in old town
>
> Thursday 1 Santa Fe – Jemez mountains and LosAlamos, ate at los ojos , saw soda falls returned to santef
>

> Friday 2 back to Albuquerque craft fair ate at McDonald's
>
> Saturday checked out and drove to Albuquerque- went to Balloon festival – then drove to Dodge city, some heavy fog stopped at truck stop and bought tshirts

Heading back to Kansas – Saturday about 10

Saturday-Balloon Fiesta

We went to the Albuquerque Balloon Festival today. We got up at 4:30 am so we could try and leave by 5. The plan was to make it to Albuquerque around 6:15. We got there about 640 and got in a line of cars over three miles from the festival which was starting at 7am. A group of balloons took off earlier called the dawn patrol. They started out in the dark as small dots with bursts of light under them. Eventually they got bigger and bigger. There were supposed to be 500 balloons with 80,000 visitors. We watched most of the show from our car. The parking lot was full by the time we got there. We were in line for at least an hour and a half. Then we pulled over to get some pictures. The show was AMAZING!!

Drove through los Alamos national laboratory for one mile no pictures allowed and no stopping.

Monday's adventure

Drove from Cripple Creek to Raton NM. Went through Waksenburg, LaVeta and ate at the Dog Bar in Cachara. Took the scenic route and it was awesome with the Fall colors. Went to the Capulin volcano in Raton.

Sunday 9/27 - Cripple Creek & Moon

This is the hotel we stayed at in CC not on the main strip but just a few blocks away, not bad for cheap but next time mom wants to stay at casino hotel on main strip

Sunday-9/27-Went on a road trip today to Cutty Resort .

We took a road trip today from Cripple Creek to Cutty resort to check it out then on to Salida and Ponca City. Took some cool pictures too. Lots of beautiful Fall foliage.
